Olympic Opening Day in HK dawned with rain, rain and more rain!! Forecast for tomorrow's start of eventing competiton is slightly better with showers expected. Not so bad news as the potential extreme heat/humidity for the cross country may not eventuate.............. |

Our 'eye on the Olympics' in Hong Kong, senior instructor Possum Richards, based at the Beas River Coutry Club where the Cross Country will be held, reported yesterday a Catogory No 8 Typhoon holding the island at a standstill. The good news is that it should have passed for the start of the eventing this saturday. |
