PayPal automatic renewals
Some transactions have been set up so that PayPal automatically deducts an annual subscription renewal. We recommend you cancel the automatic renewal via your PayPal account. Horses and People Magazine cannot access individuals’ PayPal accounts to change these settings or perform any other unauthorised functions. All automatic renewals received will be assumed to be intentional and processed accordingly.
For customers whose automatic renewal transactions are at a superseded subscription price, ie not the current subscription price, their subscription will be processed for a prorated subscription term. Eg $25 subscription will be for 3 issues.
In the event that a subscriber inadvertently purchases two subscriptions, one manually and one automatically renewed, they will be offered the following options:
- The duplicated payment added to their existing subscription (either full or prorated term), thereby extending the expiry date of their subscription.
- Transfer the duplicated subscription to another person. Or
- Refund the duplicated subscription, less transaction and administrative fees.
